Symmetry can be run from a floppy disk, or off a CD. It is multiboot compliant, so you can run it off a hard drive with GRUB already installed if you wish. For instructions on installing Symmetry onto various media, see Installing Symmetry.

You can grab the latest Symmetry source tree over at our public repositories at Gitorious. If you have the git source management system installed, you can clone the tree from the following URLs:

Public clone url: git://gitorious.org/sos/mainline.git
HTTP clone url: http://git.gitorious.org/sos/mainline.git

Cloning over HTTP may be slightly slower, but it is useful if you are behind a firewall.
